29 Sept 2006 Vivid join Robin Hood’s gang! Vivid Imaginations, the UK and Ireland’s number one toymaker, has secured the master toy and game license from BBC Worldwide for the highly anticipated new drama set to hit screens this autumn, Robin Hood. The license entitles Vivid Imaginations to develop and market products across a broad scale of toy categories. Filmed on location in Budapest, Robin Hood is an entertaining and sophisticated update of the classic legend. Full of action, humour and romance the series follows Robin and his gang as they outwit the evil Sheriff of Nottingham with their cunning scams. The series is a Tiger Aspect production for the BBC in association with BBC America. Vivid Imaginations is expected to debut their product line in the UK in summer 2007 with an international rollout planned to follow. The initial launch is set to include; action figures, playsets, toy dress up, jigsaws and games, which will be supported by television advertising throughout the latter half of 2007.
