Vivid Imaginations has been appointed as the worldwide toy and gift plush licensee for Jamster’s range of mobile phone ringtone characters including the chart-topping Crazy Frog.
The Frog (also known as The Annoying Thing) is currently the ringtone du jour with 11 million downloads alone and a single based on the tone currently at number one in the charts.
Vivid’s range will include singing plush featuring the Crazy Frog, Sweety Chick, Nessie the Dragon and Party Bee and will be on shelves by October. Mobile characters will enjoy ongoing TV and print advertising campaigns by Jamster.
Steve Manley, founder of licensing agent AT Merchandise, said: “We have been overwhelmed by public, media, licensee and retail interest in these characters. We are delighted to have Vivid on board with their expertise in high fashion character marketing, recalling their past success with Flat Eric from the former Levi's advertising campaign.”
