Vivid Imaginations have just inked a deal with TV Loonland’s hot craze show The Owl , showing on BBC and CBBC . The 52 episode one minute interstitial “short movies” track the perilous adventures of a quirky pink, paranoid Owl who unfortunately bites the dust in a different and bizarre accident at the end of every show …despite the inevitable consequences, this very, very funny show is proving a big hit with kids in the UK, Ireland and around the world!! Sold into over 185 territories The Owl TV series is being placed next to channels’ top performing shows. In the UK, The Owl is performing 3 times better than the same slot in the previous year - just one month after launch The Owl was the no3 show overall on Multi-channel (CBBC). “The Owl has a merciless charm that appeals to everyone’s mischievous side and we immediately likened the character and the opportunity to that of global hits Flat Eric and the Crazy Frog” states Emma Sherski , Vivid’s Marketing and Licensing Director. “We are fast tracking production of a range of plush toys for this Christmas to reach territories where The Owl is already a hit , namely UK, France, US and the Nordic region”.
