Bravado Merchandising have signed Vivid as their master toy partner for hit boy band The Wanted. With the single ‘Glad You Came’ charting at no1 for two weeks last month, the five boys have been laser scanned to be immortalised as Collector Dolls launching at retail in January 2012. “The Wanted have become a massive teen/tween brand and are clearly here to stay,” comments Emma Weber, Licensing and Marketing Director at Vivid. “With a second album release launching later on this year and multiple arena tours planned for spring 2012, we have a great platform to launch a range of The Wanted Collector and Micro Dolls”. Vivid have carved out a niche in the doll business for popstar collectables . David Boyne, MD of Bravado, is delighted with this deal. Bringing together Bravado, Vivid and most importantly The Wanted makes this a really exciting project for us all to work on’.
