Show us the monkey! Curious George hits UK in September - Vivid Imaginatons has been confirmed as Master Toy Licensee for the forthcoming Curious George movie and TV series set to blitz UK and Ireland from September '06 .Targeted at preschoolers ,Curious George has a 60 year educational publishing heritage and is therefore no stranger to mothers and kids . With the TV launch of 60 x 11 minute shows in Autumn coupled with Universal's national full length feature film roll-out in October, Curious George is perfectly set up to be the big Christmas hit for preschool children .
Developed by US-based Toybiz, Vivid will be launching a comprehensive range of Curious George soft toys, vehicles and playsets from £3 to £20 retail prices . TV advertising of the range , featuring the iconic Tickle and Giggle Curious George feature plush , will start September with a 360 TVR campaign .
Further Curious George products will also be released to coincide, including the Curious George video game across four key hardware platforms, publishing programme based on the Film and TV Series and the coolest of cool Jack Johnson soundtrack , already number one in USA music charts .
