| IZ - the interactive dude with attitude!: Earlier this year legendary former CEO of Tiger Electronics Roger Shiffman announced he was back with the introduction of new Chicago-based start up company ZIZZLE . This week saw the unveiling of Zizzle’s first product for Autumn Fall intro in North America and UK/Ireland - simply known as IZ
Fearing counterfeit activity, all images were embargoed until yesterday. A teaser campaign (seehttp://ilounge.com/index.php/sitenews/com ments/enter-the-what-is-iz-giveaway-zizzle/) began the hype that looks set to propel IZ to the number 1 spot this Christmas.
Nick Austin, CEO of Vivid Imaginations who is ZIZZLE’s International business partner said “The reaction from our British and Irish retail customers tells us we have got a winner this Christmas. What IZ is?
IZ is an inviting-looking 9-in.-tall, poseable animatronic DJ of sorts that plays infectious beats when you poke his belly. By twisting his ears, you create cool musical leads and rhythms. Dozens of musical combinations are possible from IZ, whose infectious charm includes giggling, burping and obligatory breaking wind!! In addition to all these features IZ interacts with music sources e.g. an IPod to put a new vibe into your music.
Vivid have been given just 60,000 units of IZ pre Christmas so he is certain to be in heavy demand when the TV and PR campaigns break in mid October. Retailing around £30, IZ….”the interactive dude with attitude” is set to put a smile back into toy retail very soon.
