A near sell-out UK “Bratz Live” tour, coupled with multiple DVD releases and a “live action” movie could make 2007 the biggest year yet for the UK’s best selling toy brand . Coupled with a 9,950 TVR advertising plan stretching 52 weeks of the year, the Vivid MGA goal is to further extend Bratz 22 month leadership over nearest rival in the doll war!
NPD UK retail audit data reports in December 06 that Bratz maintained a strong lead over nearest rival with a fashion doll market share of 63.7% vs nearest rival 25.3%. “ Bratz performance across 2006 was very strong with Bratz Diamondz emerging as clear winner in the Christmas fashion doll war,” states Vivid CEO Nick Austin . “We are delighted that we are still out-selling our nearest competitor over 2 to 1 in dolls sales. 2007 should be a great year for Bratz with the powerful marketing and product line plans we have assembled …let battle commence !"
